David Lush, MA, has 27 years of experience in media and communications. For the past 10 years, he has spearheaded the development of communication for social change approaches involving people living with and affected by HIV. He set up Positive Vibes, a Namibia-based non-governmental organization specializing in these approaches. Mr. Lush helped establish the Media Institute of Southern Africa, and was a co-founder of Namibia’s award-winning magazine, Insight. Mr. Lush has been living with HIV for 21 years and was actively involved in Namibia’s People Living with HIV and AIDS movement. Mr. Lush received his master’s degree in political communications from Sheffield University, United Kingdom.
