Henry Fomundam, BSP, PharmD, is currently the regional director (Africa) for the Howard University, Continuing Education, HIV/AIDS Pharmaceutical Care Program. Howard University, based in the United States, works in partnership with Family Health International on the Corridors of Hope Project in Zambia; the Global HV/AIDS Initiative Nigeria Project; the Roads Project in Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda; and the South Sudan HIV/AIDS Project. Dr. Fomundam has worked as a consultant for the South African Ministry of Health in the HIV/AIDS directorate and served on the Nelson Mandela Foundation HIV/AIDS Advisory Board. He is an adjunct faculty member at the Medical University of South Africa and the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Dr. Fomundam graduated from Howard University, Washington, DC, with a doctorate in pharmaceutical care, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in public health at the National School of Public Health in South Africa.
