Vencentius Sisley Swartbooi is currently a tuberculosis (TB) field promoter supervisor at the Keetmanshoop, Namibia, TB clinic. Mr. Swartbooi is also the founding chair of Men With A Vision, a support group for men living with HIV or AIDS. With the goal of promoting a positive lifestyle through behavior change, the group also acts as a forum for men interested in addressing HIV and AIDS stigma, domestic violence issues, and alcohol and substance abuse. Prior to his current work, Mr. Swartbooi completed his secondary school in Keetmanshoop, Namibia, and underwent military training in South Africa, working as a police officer and nature conservator.
