  • This 2-hour 15-minute module discusses the role leadership should play in creating a shared vision and making core values explicit in the workplace. Participants complete a “visioning” exercise, walking through the process of articulating the vision and core values for their organizations.

  • This 2-hour module covers “Habit 2” of Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, which is about “beginning with the end in mind.” Participants will reflect on their personal core values and how those shape their personal vision and mission, then will use them to draft a personal development plan.

  • In this 1-hour module, participants will watch and discuss a video about communication and storytelling, as well as be given space to work on their personal development plans.

  • In this 1-hour activity, participants will practice clarifying and communicating their values for the purpose of honing their personal and professional visions and missions.

  • This 3-hour module introduces Kouzes and Posner's Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership and guides participants through using the Leadership Practices Inventory (this instrument must be purchased) to identify their strengths. Through an exercise, participants share with each other ways to strengthen these practices.

  • This 30 minute-module provides a discussion to accompany the profile in leadership video of Ndwapi Ndwapi. Participants will reflect on specific leadership practices, such as Ndwapi Ndwapi’s collaborative approach to decision-making.
